I got the Canon PowerShot A70. I did a lot of research before I bought it. I wanted something in the 3mp range and I liked this camera because it is point and shoot, but you can also set up a lot of things manually. That way, I could learn more about photography, which I want to do. It's a little bigger than their Elph line, but it's also less expensive and it on sale right now at Amazon... though they seem to be out of stock (but then again, it is their #1 best seller currently in the 3 - 3.9 mp range).

thanks! Actually, that is lovely Cambridge, MA as seen from the Boston side of the Charles River last night. Made possible by my wonderful new camera that can actually capture these colors. I love my new camera!
Everything has changed. Nothing has changed. I don't want to go through this again. I can't live without it. I'm sure I can handle it. I couldn't imagine it any other way.
And if none of this makes sense... well, you obviously aren't a Red Sox fan.
