This weekend I watched this:
perhaps the greatest thing to ever come out on DVD. I usually don't like concert videos (I'd rather be there and get aggitated sitting on the couch just watching), but this transfixed me. It is so brilliant you almost want to look away for fear it will hurt your eyes. The drum solo during Moby Dick worth the price of admitance alone. John Paul Jones as never sounded better. I don't think I need to say anything about Jimmy Page or Robert Plant (well, ok.. they are Rock Gods!) Run, don't walk, to the store to pick this up..

There were actually people who waited hours outside a Best Buy I went to to buy it.

that totally kills! i grabbed that the day it was out. all the footage is insanely good, but i was most blown away by the Knebworth stuff - so tight, so groovin - an indication of what may have continued had Bonham not died the death of a rock star. and Goin' to California gets me every time as well. so good... so good....
