Yesterday I was watching the local news. During the sports segment they were still going on and on and ON about Pedro being on the mound in the 8th inning, quotes from the players on not second guessing Grady, footage of Nomar and Mia Ham kicking a soccer ball around Fenway - none of this was new footage or information. Then they go through the rest of the sports news including Syracuse kicking some boot-ay over BC (yeah!), even spending a few minutes on the UMass/Hofstra game (Division 1-AA, I believe they are). And in the last 10 sec. of the segment they say: and there is one more sports story that we have to report... the World Series starts today. That was it. Not even who was playing, who was pitching, where it was. That was all they had to say about that.
