Today I made the mistake of going to the grocery store. There I found a sea of people clammering to grab every last possible snack food in preparation for the big game tomorrow. The Girl Scouts were even there with a special table of Girl Scout cookies - is is that time already? A large crowd stood around the table with football shaped cakes with the "Go Pats" icing. Every cart was filled to the brim with chips & salsa, potato chips, cold cuts and iced cream. People were even buying the Patriots balloons and tissue paper - and by tissue paper, I don't mean decorating tissue, I mean the kind you blow your nose with (this product totally amazed me). But I think my favorite was on the car parked next to me:
And then there was this overheard totally unbiased conversation between 2 guys at the deli counter:
guy 1: I'm optimistic
guy 2: Eh.. I'm thinking blowout
guy 1: Yeah, you're right. Blowout.-----
