Federal Emergency Management Agency director Mike Brown said Monday he has resigned "in the best interest of the agency and best interest of the president," three days after losing his onsite command of the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
Bush CAN learn! It only took 2 weeks of horrific PR and poll ratings down around Nixon's during the height of Watergate, but Bush CAN learn! Holy moly.
Of course, he does say he's doing it in the best interest of the president.. no mention of the victims, no mention of his complete and utter incompetence for the job. Maybe I'm too optimistic about Bush being able to learn.-----
