May Day
8am: it's Saturday and I don't have to get up yet!!

9:30am: Trying to decide what picture to use for this weeks Photo Friday

10:30am: It's nice out - gotta get outside for some exercise... hmm, I really need new sneakers.

2-ish: Walking to the library. I am definetly a girl who stops to take pictures of the flowers..

2:30pm: Boston Public Library to see the Words on Fire exhibit (see how it ends tomorrow? I've finally gotten around to going). The exhibit is about the burning of "un-German" books in Berlin in 1933. Sometimes it seems like our current administration is heading down a similar path, but that is another story..

This represents censorship of writers...

3:30pm: Hanging out in Copley Sq., enjoying the nice weather.. at first I thought all those people in the background were a wedding, but it turns out it's Budda's birthday and the Buddists were celebrating. This guy in the red shirt showed up and started doing Tai Chi. I couldn't make this stuff up.

The view of the Hancock from there:

4:30pm: Grocery shopping at the big new urban grocery store.. how exciting. Note: people think you are extremely weird if you take pictures in the grocery store, especially if they are in them.

7:30pm: Dinner.. yummy!

9:30pm: Movie. Donnie Brasco does nothing for the mob genre of film, despite the presense of Michael Madsen.
